Each month, you have the opportunity to earn extra points for committing to a new healthy behavior. This month's Healthy Habit Challenge coincides with Earth Day. It is a reminder to conserve energy each day.
Each day you will be reminded to track "Did you conserve energy today?" Track yes for 5 of 7 days to earn 200 bonus points. You'll receive added benefits, like the satisfaction of creating a new healthy habit, and you may save a little extra money!
Here are some simple ways you can save energy:
Take the stairs. Get a bit of exercise while saving some of the electricity required to power the elevator.
Power down. Shut down your computer when you're away from your desk.
Switch off the lights. Simple as that. Turn the lights off when you leave the room.
Unplug it. Unplug your chargers and small appliances when they are not in use.
Share the road. Walk, bike or take public transportation whenever you can!
