How To Become Mentally Healthy
For mental health month, our Zest Wellness team sat down with Dr. Janette E. Martin-Isaacs and Dr. Delano Rolle.
Dr. Isaacs has a passion for people which has led her to a heightened awareness of the importance of physical, mental and spiritual harmony as a result of healthy living. Dr. Isaacs has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and Ph.D. in Advanced Studies in Human Behaviour. She believes that each person is entitled to holistic wellness, and she believes that healthy habits change behaviours and behaviours change environments.
Dr. Isaacs is the founder and lead consultant at Jemi Health and Wellness where she provides disease management and health coaching, to individuals and business groups who want to improve their health and wellness. The company is a key part of the success of national health and wellness programs such as The National Insurance Board Healthy People Programme and the Bahamas Hotel and Allied Industries Pension Fund Programme which is focused on ongoing, comprehensive health and lifestyle behavioural changes.
Dr. Rolle holds a Master of Science degree in Research Clinical psychology from the University of Hertfordshire and earned his doctorate degree in Psychology from California Southern University. Additionally, Dr. Rolle holds certifications in military mental health counseling, relationship therapy, grief management, and cancer coaching. He is an international affiliate member of the American Psychological Association (APA). Today, you can find Dr. Rolle as the Managing Director of D.R. Counselling & Associates therapy Center where he enjoys rendering quality mental health services to his patients.
